Access to existing underground utilities becomes more difficult and more important every day. Traffic control, safety protocols, shoring requirements, and noise restrictions all add to the difficulties encountered daily. Each location is unique and requires a specific design. The specific site requirements and depth of the excavation are the parameters our engineering team uses to determine the shoring design. This may include wood sheeting, steel sheeting, trench boxes or other technologies. Other factors involved in the process are plating requirements based on how long the excavation needs to be maintained as well as the excavation techniques – machine, hand, vacuum, or hydro excavation based on the existing underground utilities in the area. Bancker is geared up and equipped to do all this “in house”. We have all the equipment, materials, and trained staff ready to go both for scheduled work and emergency repairs.
