Safety & Training

Safety

At Bancker, we remain committed to implementing, maintaining, and continually improving our processes to ensure that all of our work is performed to the highest standards of safety. There is no task to perform that we cannot accomplish safely, and we provide our teams the best equipment, materials, training, and supervision to ensure that remains our model of doing business every day. We strive to make our rules and procedures represent the best and safest work practices and follow both the letter and spirit of those rules to create an environment where our employees routinely identify and correct hazards that may arise. Every employee and subcontractor of Bancker is expected to uphold these same values and take pride in providing a safe site for each of their coworkers and surrounding communities.

Training

At Bancker, training begins on day one of employment, with all new employees participating in a required full-day safety orientation. Safety education is a continuous process at Bancker, where our employees take part in general awareness modules based on the hazards inherent in their scope of work. Our training never consists of checklists and manuals handed to the new employee to take home, but instead provides a practical look at each hazard the employee will face on the job and the methods we at Bancker deploy to control them. Outside of the classroom setting of our corporate training room, employees are then physically introduced to the culture, the sites, and the people who make our company what it is. We also have a natural gas training facility that covers a variety of topics over the course of the employee’s career and certifies them for work on gas projects. Safe projects begin with effective planning, communication, and execution. Training is one of our tools to ensure that all hazards have been anticipated, communicated, and controlled.
